José Manuel Poga is a spanish actor best known for his role in the Netflix crime series, Money Heist. ^[1]

He was born in Jerez de la Frontera in 1980 and since the beginning, he was inclined towards parody and acting. He gained professional coaching for acting from Asta Regia Institute where he used to partake in understudies plays. He initially enrolled for Public Administration and Management courses but he later left to pursue a profession in acting by joining Viento Sur Private in Seville.

He began his profession from stage plays and even recorded short movies.

During that time he even embraced his stage name "Poga" due to his work as a comic and comedian in the city.

His first appearance on TV came in 2007, a little role of cop in La que se avecina.

At that point he showed up in Arrayan (2010) and in 2011, he made the jump to the big screen playing a specialist in A Square World. Gradually but consistently he rose as a rising star in Spanish film and has acted in well known local films such as, Group 7 and Miel de naranjas.

All through his profession, he worked in significant Spanish movies and earlier before his achievement role of Gandia, he gained popularity for his role as Tobias in Fugitiva. Aside from this, he got credited in motion pictures like Orange Honey, Unit 7 and El Nino. He dominated the star cast of Money Heist ^[1] with his acting as a badass villian.
