Jorge Zambrano was a resident and career criminal from Worcester, Massachusetts.


Zambrano is wanted by authorities in Worcester, Massachusetts in the connection of the death of Auburn police officer Ronald Tarentino.


Zambrano shot the officer and fled the scene.


Zambrano was tracked to a home in Oxford.

He burst out of a closet and opened fire on police, and was killed.


Criminal History

In 2011, Zambrano pleaded guilty to several charges, including trafficking in cocaine and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, distribution of cocaine, two counts of assault and battery with a deadly weapon, assault with a dangerous weapon, two counts of assault and battery on a police officer, two counts of resisting arrest, and selling, using or possessing a firearm silencer.
