Jonathan Oddi is a South African entrepreneur based in Miami. in May 2018 he exchanged gunfire with police while at the Trump National Golf Club some minutes after shouting expletives about United States president Donald Trump.

Oddi was born in South Africa and raised in Argentina, a place where he still has family members. Presently,he resides in the city of Miami, a place where he has lived for more than ten years.

As a career choice, Oddi had been a stripper and a porn actor, where he worked for the adult website Dancing Bear, which produces videos showing women performing sex on male entertainers wearing plush bear costumes.

He is currently an investor in real estate and also a fitness instructor. He is also manages a business dealing in minerals and gemstones.

Miami-Dade and Broward County court records show Oddi was cited for offenses include speeding, driving with an expired driver's license, failing to pay highway tolls, making improper turns and not having proof of insurance. Most were settled by paying a fine.

On May 18th, 2018, Oddi barged into the lobby of the Trump National Golf Clubearly Friday carrying an American flag and shouting about the president. He fired at a chandelier before exchanging gunfire with officers, who shot him in the legs and took him into custody.

He was hospitalized for about two days before being taking jail on Sunday, May 20th, 2018. Oddi was held without bond on charges of second-degree attempted murder, aggravated assault with a firearm, burglary with assault, criminal mischief, grand theft and falsely pulling a fire alarm.
