Jon Fine

Jon Fine

Besides working for Inc., Jon Fine is the co-founder of Biltboard, an online visual diary for makers.

He has also been an adviser to several early-stage startups, including the Techstars company Wander, which created the acclaimed Days app and sold to Yahoo!

in early 2014.

From 2005 to 2009, Fine wrote the widely cited BusinessWeek column โ€œMedia Centric,โ€ which covered media, technology, and marketing, and for which he won American Society of Business Publication Editors and National Headliner awards.

He also won a James Beard Award in 2010 for Best Wine Writing.

In a long-running alternate life as a musician, Fine has played guitar in a series of American independent rock bands.

His upcoming book based on those experiences, Your Band Sucks, will be published by Penguin later this year.
