Joel Pazhayampallil is the Co-Founder of Drive.ai, an Artificial Intelligence.
Education
Joel obtained his Bachelor of Science from Carnegie Mellon University in Mechanical engineering, earning a 3.97 GPA and making the Dean's List. He then obtained a Master of Science in Mechanical engineering from Stanford University.
Career
Joel was an Associate Software Engineer at General Motors from 2011 to 2013 as a Lead developer for trajectory control and development in Autonomous vehicle projects. He performed simulations, programmed algorithms to achieve accurate vehicle positioning with affordable sensors. He utilized MATLAB to model 3D models for predictions.
He has worked as a research intern at Nissan Motor Corporation in the self driving research and development group.
Joel was named to Forbes 30 Under 30 (2018) in the Enterprise Technology category. He cofounded Drive.ai, an autonomous driving company that utilizes Deep learning to teach cars how to drive themselves.
