Joel Kim Booster is a comedian and screen writer.

Joel was born in South Korea. When he was a child, he was adopted by a Midwestern family and moved to the southwest suburbs of Chicago. He was also homeschooled and grew up Evangelical Christian.

As a television writer, Kim's writing credits include Billy on the Street and the pilot episode of Problematic with Moshe Kasher. He is currently developing a half-hour comedy with JAX Media called Birthright, which a show loosely based on his own life experiences.

As a comedian, Booster has toured nationwide and appeared on Conan twice, as well as Logo, and Comedy Central.

In November 2017, Joel Kim Booster was selected to be in the Forbes 30 Under 30 for 2018; he was in the 'Hollywood & Entertainment' category.
