Joel Davis
Joel Davis
Joel Davis is a student at Columbia University who is widely credited as one of the founders of a nonprofit organization called Youth to End Sexual violence in 2014. [1]
Personal Life
Davis also served as a youth ambassador to the United Nations and worked around activists like Angelina Jolie while traveling the world spreading his message.
He also wrote in Columbia University's student newspaper that he'd been a victim of childhood sexual abuse.
Joel Davis was a member of the Democratic Party and supported Hillary Clinton for President of the United States in 2016. Some speculate that the Anthony Weiner scandal and information derived from the investigation was instrumental in his arrest by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
In the Media
In June 2018, Davis was accused by the Federal Bureau of Investigation of displaying the highest degree of hypocrisy, after he was arrested for allegedly trying to have sexual intercourse with a 2-year-old girl.
He could face up to life in prison stemming from a variety of counts, including distribution of child pornography and enticement of a minor to engage in sexual activity.
As of January 2020, there have been no further reports on Joel Davis after his initial indictment.
This had led some to speculate that Joel Davis is now a full-time federal informant.
