The video, posted by Takela Hill on July 1, 2020, shows an interaction during which Hill claims Jillian Wuestenberg had just bumped into her 15-year-old daughter.

Wuestenberg claimed she was being blocked from entering her car before her husband, Eric Wuestenberg, was seen on video helping usher her into the vehicle.

The couple and Hill argued and exchanged racial accusations before Hill appeared to move behind the couple's vehicle.

Hill says the couple tried hitting her as they reversed out of their parking spot.

Jillian Wuestenberg accuses Hill of striking her car.

Jillian Wuestenberg then exited the car and brandished a gun, pointing it at Hill several times.

Interview with WXYZ

On July 9, 2020, Jillian told WXYZ in an interview that the video that went viral is "hard to watch." "It's scary," she said. "The more I see it the more I realize I’m more afraid of that situation now than I was then." [5][6]

"Within moments, a second or two, I had multiple people within two feet of me and I just remember thinking, 'I am not going home tonight,'" she said while crying.

"So, you felt like you had no choice but to pull the gun?" 7 Action News Reporter Jim Kiertzner asked.

"I grew up around lots of handguns, lots of rifles," Jillian said.

"They are just everyday part of life.

It was just something that was there."

"You're seen chambering the bullet," Kiertzner said.

"That means business."

[5][6]

"That meant I am about to die and I don’t want to die," Jillian said.[5][6]

Charges

Jillian and Eric were both arrested and charged with felony assault. The charge carries a potential sentence of up to 4 years in prison. [8]
