In 2010, Jewel received Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Howard University.[1]
Career
Jewel started her career as an Intern at Affinion Marketing Group.
In a year, she was a Summer Analyst at Goldman Sachs. In summer 2009, she was an Intern at Google. From 2010-2012 Jewel worked as a Enterprise Sales Associate at Google. She left the company in 2012 to join McMaster-Carr as a Supervisor. In 2014, Jewel rejoined Google on a position of Entrepreneur in Residence and worked there up to 2016.[1]
In addition, Jewel is a member of the 2019 Class of Henry Crown Fellows within the Aspen Global Leadership Network at the Aspen Institute.She is a board member at Goodie Nation and the Harvard Debate Council Diversity Project.[2]
In 2016, Jewel was featured in Forbes 30 Under 30 in Manufacturing.[5]
