Jessica Winter is an American journalist based in New York, New York. She is Executive Editor at Newyorker.com for The New Yorker. ^[1]

Winter graduated from Yale University with a Bachelor's degree in English and literature. She also received a Master's degree from University College London.

Prior to her current role at The New Yorker, she was a senior editor at Slate, and has previously worked as an editor at TIME and O Magazine.

Her writing has appeared in the New York Times, The Guardian, Bookforum, The Believer, Modern Painters, and many other publications.
