Jessica Lynn Mazak was a American Norcal woman who was found dead on the property of Martin Ehrke's father. ^{[2] [9] [7]}

Mazak was born and raised in the state of California for most of her life. She had most of her upbringing in the town of Colusa. ^{[2] [1] [1]}

She would later in life live in the town of Arbuckle, which is about 50 miles northwest of Sacramento. She lived there with a man and a woman, both were considered her roommates. ^{[0] [9]}

In the early morning of Thursday, January 25th, 2018, a man called the police and authorities to inform he had arrived at his house to a bloody scene.

^[0]The man saw blood splattered all across the walls of the living room.

He and his dead roommates lived in the secondary house of a farm located on the property of the

alleged killer's father.

The alleged killer, Martin Ehrke, was not at the scene when the man arrived. ^[2]

Once they got a search warrant for the property, the police arrived at 6000 block of Hillgate Road, and found Kimberly Lynn Taylor's body inside of a chest freezer located inside the bedroom of Ehrke. ^[7]Investigators would find the dead body of Jessica Lynn Mazak submerged in a pond near the perperty area. ^[7]

The roommate had not seen both women since Wednesday afternoon, when he saw them for lunch.

The cause of death has not been revealed yet by the coroner, but believe that the women each died within 24 hours of each other.

Deputies located Ehrke in Colusa, about a 15-minute drive from the crime scene. Deputies took him into custody, interviewed him, and then booked him into jail on homicide charges. ^{[9] [6] [7]}
