Jesse Thomas was a teenager of 17 years of age from Henry County, Georgia who died of serious gunshot wounds after being the victim of gun violence at a house party. ^[1]

On Saturday night, May 12th, 2017, Jesse attended a house party that would also bring great misfortune the same night.

At about 1:40 a.m. during the wee hours of Saturday morning, officers responded to a house in the 1000 block of Maria Drive outside McDonough.

Officers found blood on the door, and no one was in the house.

Soon after, the officers received a report that a young man was brought into a hospital with gunshot wounds.

He would later die from the wounds.

Jesses's father identified Jesse.

So far there are no suspects in the shooting.

The police are interviewing more than 50 people who were at the party as the police believe there is a connection between the party and Jesse's death by gunshot.
