Armenian Genocide
On his last ever facebook post on April 25, 2018 Reid expressed his feelings on the Armenian genocide of the 20th century. He stated:
A lot of people do not know about the Armenian Genocide where 2 million Armenians were massacred at the hands of the ottoman turks. The Greeks and the Assyrian people were also massacred for being Christian. I stand with my Armenian brothers and demand justice because the Turkish government denies the genocide and says never happened. The Armenian people are going though a lot right now with their former prime minister and are going through a revolution with attempts to get rid of the corrupt government officials. The saddest part is we hear nothing about this on the news.
