Jeffrey Mason Phillips was a 17-year-old from the Bennett, North Carolina area.

Mason grew up in the small town of Glendon, North Carolina and attended Chatham Central High School where he was a junior. An athlete, Mason was a member of his school's baseball team and won earned several accolades on their cross country squad. He was in a relationship with his girlfriend, Carleigh Ann Evans. He is remembered for being a hard-working person who cared deeply for others.

On June 1st, Phillips was traveling on North Carolina highway 22/42 when he was involved in a serious car accident. He was killed in the wreck. Arrangements are incomplete at this time and will be announced by Joyce and will take place at the Brady Chapel of Bennett.
