Personal Life

She lived in the city of Baton Rouge for many years and was known for having a warm heart and welcoming personality, and made friends easily. She enjoyed gardening, making jewelry, spending time with family and friends and her pets, especially her beloved dog, Lexie. [4]
Jeannette is also be fondly remembered as a wonderful funeral director, where she helped many families through difficult times by her
professionalism and compassion.
Death
On January 8th, 2018, the death of LeBlanc became national news when photos of parts of her body eaten by a bacteria that took her life were released to the public.
In late September, 2017, while visiting friends and family in Lafayette with her partner, she ate about a dozen raw oysters. About 36 hours later she started having extreme respiratory distress, had a rash on her legs and everything. She battled the Vibriosis Bacteria disease for about 20 days. On October 15th, 2017, she was pronounced dead. [6] [5] [1]
