While he lived in Edmonton, Jaxon was known for spending time in the Okanagan, including Osoyoos Lake. [undefined]

He played for the Surrey Eagles from 2015 to 2016. [undefined] Jaxon's dad, Chris, played for several NHL teams including the Pittsburgh Penguins, Edmonton Oilers, Tampa Bay Lightning, Philadelphia Flyers, Vancouver Canucks, Phoenix Coyotes and Atlanta Thrashers. [undefined]

Death

On Friday April 6, 2018, Joseph and fourteen other people were killed as a bus carrying the junior hockey team crashed with a truck in Saskatchewan. The hockey team was heading for a playoff game against the Nipawin Hawks. [undefined]
