Jason Becker is a 34-year-old man who recently moved to Sioux Falls, South Dakota from Los Angeles, California. ^[1]

In the afternoon of October 12th, Becker tried to entice a 15-year-old girl walking to her friend's house from Lincoln High School to get a ride from him. When she refused, Becker forcibly shoved her in his SUV and dragged her back to her apartment. He then went on to sexually assault her for several hours.

It was not until Becker left the apartment to get a friend that the girl escaped and pleaded with a neighbor walking their dog for help.

Together, they called the authorities and Becker promptly was arrested.

He is charged with 2nd and 4th degree rape as well as kidnapping.
