Jared Sichel is an award-winning senior reporter for The Jewish Journal, one of the largest Jewish news outlets in the United States and the country's most popular Jewish news site. He's also a features reporter for Jewish Insider, the nation's premiere curated news service for politics and business news through a Jewish lens. Jared grew up in the suburbs of Washington, D.C., has an undergraduate and graduate degree from Tulane University's A.B. Freeman School of Business, and has a background in finance, accounting, video production and digital marketing. His hunt for stories has brought him to Mexico, Israel, Germany, France, Washington, D.C. and the corners of California. His body of work includes reports on North Korean defectors, the role of Judaism and Israel on American college campuses, and numerous other topics. In 2015 the Los Angeles Press Club awarded him 3rd prize for news story of the year for his coverage of the 2014 boycott of the Beverly Hills Hotel. [1]
