Jantsen Robertson, better known as Jantsen, is a DJ and electronic music producer from Boulder, Colorado. ^[8]

Jantsen is originally from Colorado. He started DJing when he was 20, experimented in production when he was 22, and started taking his craft more seriously when he was 25. ^[9]

Jantsen has been pushing the envelope of the bass-centric electronic music scene for several years.

Jantsen is inspired by his elevated surroundings, bringing together the influences of electronica, jazz, blues, funk, rock, hip-hop, and every single sound in between.

His musical style looks to the horizon of the scene, progressively pushing creative boundaries, expanding upon the typical to make them abnormal.

Jantsen and Dirt Monkey frequently collaborate and went on tour together in 2015.

The pair met because both are Boulder, Colorado natives and Dirt Monkey would come to Jantsen's shows in Boulder while the two were starting off.^[23]
