Jane Little was a bassist for the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.
Career
Jane Little led a fruitful career even earning herself the Guinness World Record for the longest professional tenure with a single orchestra. She debuted as a bassist in Atlanta on February 4, 1945 only at the age of 16. She had never stopped playing until her death 71 years after her debut. [1]
Death
Jane Little died on stage while playing for the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra on May 15, 2016.
