Jaminton Carela is a New York native who graduated from Newton High School.

According to his Facebook, his occupation is "Hooping All Day Everyday."

On January 30th, 2016, Carela was arrested for attempted luring of a girl.

According to authorities, a girl was walking along 81st Street toward the Renaissance School, where Carela allegedly motioned for her to come to him.

The Girl ignored his motions, but Carela allegedly crossed the street and followed her, then reached his hand out to grab her.

The NYPD said that the girl then screamed and ran for help, inevitably finding a crossing guard who stepped in and confronted Carela, who immediately fled the scene.

Police were able to find Carela through surveillance cameras and arrested him at a local gym.
