James Boehm is an entrepreneur. He is the co-founder and COO of several companies related to online gaming services, including Mixer, MCProHosting, and Rule.
Career
In August 2011, when he was 14 years old, Boehm and Matt Salsamendi co-founded a game server provider called MCProHosting.
[4]It was the first of multiple companies that they founded together.
In July 2013, they founded RuleMedia.
A sister company of MCProhosting, a company that provides services related to film production aid, post-production mastering, and graphic design to enhance the standards within the online entertainment industry. [5]
In August 2014, Boehm co-founded Beam, an interactive live game streaming service.
He worked as their COO until August 2016, when the company was bought by Microsoft and renamed Mixer.
When the acquisition took place, Microsoft employed Boehm as a Senior Community Manager.
