Jake Franklin (aka Jake the Viking) is well known for his frequent apperances on the MrBeast YouTube channel, as he is a good friend of Jimmy Donaldson.

Jake Franklin (Jake the Viking) was born and raised in Greenville, North Carolina. He attended Louisiana State University and played on the football team while there.^[1] Presently, he is best known for making frequent apperances on the MrBeast YouTube Channel. He has participated in many of the gang's challenge videos and has won lots of money from winning these challenges.

Jake Franklin (Jake the Viking) launched his own YouTube channel l on June 22,2015, with a cover of "Home" by Blake Shelton. As of April 2020, he has over 564,000 on his channel.^[6]

Franklin, hoping to help his community during this public health crisis, recently handed out $1,000 in tips to servers at Greenville restaurants in an effort to help those in need. He surprised servers with tips ranging from $100 to $300 and says the reactions were priceless. He posted a Video on YouTube featuring the server's reactions and it racked up over 201,000 views as of April 21, 2020.^[7]
