Jai Malano
Jai Malano
Similar to the sounds of Etta James, Little Richard, Lavern Baker, and many more of the originators of Rhythm & Blues and Rock & Roll; the sound of Jai Malano is authentic and historically relevant to the culture of American music.
Since her debut in July 2010, as the leading lady to former horn driven 40s-50s rhythm & blues band, The Royal Rhythmaires; her strong vocals and showmanship have landed her the cover of UK Rock ‘N’ Roll Magazine, as well as recognition in Vintage Rock Magazine, and the Austin Music Journal.
The Dallas Observer also listed her, along with former bandmates, as one of the Top 15 Bands/Artists to watch for in 2014.
Other artists on that list included Doyle Bramhall II, Gary Clark Jr., the North Mississippi Allstars, and the Tedeschi Trucks Band.
Although hailing from the ’Live Music Capital of The World’, Austin-Texas; powerhouse vocalist Jai Malano has roots tied to both Florida and Louisiana.
Her original tunes purposefully incite movement and imagery as the lyrics dance around the beat.
It’s guaranteed to get your attention and keep it, from start to finish.
Discography includes, 'Shuck and Jive’, 'Talk to Me’, and ‘Rocket Girl’.
