Education
Jacob attended Lehigh University where he earned a Bachelor's of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. An active student, Jacob was a part of the "On Tap" acapella group, Chabad, Glee Club, and College Democrats. [1]
Career
Jacob has had a variety of jobs ranging from being an acapella singer on a cruise ship with his college group to working as an Energy Efficiency Market Researcher.
[undefined] Playing an active role in politics, Jacob worked as a field organizer for the Obama campaign in 2012 and was most recently held the position of president of the Manhattan Young Democrats as well as the downstate region vice president of the New York State Young Democrats. [undefined] Furthermore, Jacob was hired by the Bill DeBlasio's administration in 2015 and started out as a Construction Project Manager Intern for the NYC Department of Design and Construction. Arrest for Child Pornography
On May 26th, court papers revealed that Jacob was arrested for child pornography and had 3,000 illicit images and 89 videos on his laptop.
One video showed young nude females between the approximate ages of 6 months and 16, engaging in sexual conduct on an adult male.
Jacob was already under investigation and handed the authorities his laptop on March 29th.
Jacob's father Arthur admitted that he was going to therapy for his problem.
Jacob turned himself in May 25th to computer crimes investigators in Manhattan’s 13th Precinct.
He was charged with promoting a sexual performance by a child and possessing a sexual performance by a child under 16, both felonies, and released on $7,500 bail.
