Erika Ellice Sotres Starr (Mexico City, February 6**,** 1969**)**; known artistically as Issabela Camil, is a Mexican actress. She is also the sister-in-law of Mexican actor Jaime Camil and is married to Mexican actor and producer Sergio Mayer.

Her parents are Mexican Armando Sotres and American model Tony Starr. Since she was a child she showed interest in show business. She joined CEA Televisa in 1995.

She stared her career as an actress in the mid-1990s in small roles and plays. In 2002 she participated in Lo que es el amor playing a small role.

In 2005 she has a special participation in the telenovela La ley del silencio.

In 2007 he reappears starring in a special participation in the telenovela La fea más bella with his brother Jaime Camil, and actresses Angélica Vale, Elizabeth Álvarez and Paty Navidad.

In 2008 she worked in the series El pantera sharing credits with Luis Roberto Guzmán.

In 2010, producer Pedro Torres invites her to star in the episode "Anette y Ana, nobles" of the TV series Mujeres asesinas 3, where this time she acts alongside Belinda and William Levy.

That same year, José Alberto Castro invites her to play a starring role as an antagonist in Teresa alongside Angelique Boyer and Sebastián Rulli.

In 2012 she is one of the antagonists in the telenovela Abismo de pasión by Angelli Nesma Medina, where she works alongside Angelique Boyer and David Zepeda.

In 2013 Pedro Torres invites her again to participate in a series, Mexican version of the American series Gossip Girl, now titled Gossip Girl Acapulco where she plays "Lili Lopez-Haro".

In 2013 she stars in Lo que la vida me robó, produced by Angelli Nesma Medina, where this time she shares credits with Daniela Castro, Sebastián Rulli, Angelique Boyer, Luis Roberto Guzmán and Sergio Sendel.

In 2020 she participates in the telenovela Vencer el desamor produced by Rosy Ocampo in the role of Lynda Brown, a successful Los Angeles businesswoman who falls in love with "Eduardo Falcón" played by Juan Diego Covarrubias.
