Police at the scene of the crash
On April 9, 2017, Isaiah and Angelito Espinoza were killed in a car crash that occurred in Lenexa, Kansas. A police officer tried to stop a Mitsubishi passenger car with its lights off at about 4:30 a.m. local time.
The vehicle sped off and the officer did not pursue the vehicle.
A short time later, the officer came upon the vehicle crashed into a tree.
Isaiah and Angel were identified as two of the teenagers who were pronounced dead at the scene.
Seven others were injured and taken to a local hospital.
The vehicle had been over occupied.
