Green was born and raised in the state of Pennsylvania and lived there for most of his life. [6]He grew up in the town of Dover Township which is where he had most of his upbringing. [3]He was a member of the community that neighbors and friends would look up to when they needed help. One neighbor recalls receiving help from Green who shoveled their snow during a heavy snow season. [6]
He was an American football all-star at Dover High School where he played fullback and middle linebacker from 2011 to 2013. [6]He rushed for 1,190 yards in 2013 and led the team in tackles with 93. He was named a two-time GameTimePA all-star following his sophomore (2012) and junior (2013) years. According to his coach, Bill Miller, he he was a coachable player who seemed to enjoy the game of Football. At the time, as a player he stood at 5-foot-10 and weighed 200
pounds as a senior.
Green was also an outdoorsman, who loved dirt-biking and hunting.
He would go on big hunting trips to Utah or the Dakotas.
