Isa Soares is an award-winning international correspondent and anchor, based in CNN's London Bureau. ^{[2] [4]}

Soares received a Bachelor's degree in Hispanic and Lusophone Studies from King's College London and a Master's degree in International relations and Economics from the University of Bristol. ^[2] She is fluent in Spanish, French and Portugese. ^[2]

Prior to becoming a full time correspondent, Soares worked on high profile stories as a producer and reporter for prime time business programme Quest Means Business with Richard Quest. ^{[2] [4]}

As an anchor, Soares has interviewed a raft of business leaders including the CEOs of Pirelli, Lufthansa, Vodafone and Audi among others. She also had a rare sit-down with LVMH CEO Bernard Arnault, tennis star Rafael Nadal and football legend Pelé. ^{[2] [4]}

In her role as correspondent Soares has covered a range of stories in the Uk and Europe, including the Paris attacks in January 2015, the Nice attack in 2016 and the migrant crisis in the Mediterranean for which she won an AIB award for television journalism. ^{[2] [1]}
