Isa Mazzei is an American writer, producer, camgirl, and former sex worker based in Los Angeles, California. ^{[1] [3] [2]}

Mazzei was raised in Boulder, Colorado. Her father directed music videos and was bipolar, her mother was a makeup artist and an alcoholic. ^[2]

She was sexually abused when she was younger and suffered from trauma as a result. ^[2]

She is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, where she studied Comparative Literature Studies. ^[1]

She is best known for writing and co-creating Cam (2018) for which she won best screenplay at the Fantasia International Film Festival and Best First Feature, which she shares with CAM director and co-creator Daniel Goldhaber. ^[2]

Upon graduating from college, she became addicted to Tinder. As she swiped obsessively, she tried out a string of conventional jobs, including web development, retail, and even a stint as an assistant high-school teacher. All of these jobs did not interest her. ^[2]

She got into camming in 2014, during a trip to a strip joint with a boyfriend.

Mazzei then began to broadcast live sex videos from her bedroom. During this time she was reportedly making $15,500 per month and some six figures a year. ^[2]
