Irfan Wahid was a 16-year-old teenager who resided in Harehills. ^[undefined]

He was an 11 pupil at Carr Manor Community School. ^[1]

On February 10, 2017, Irfan was stabbed in the heart on his way home from school as other students filmed the attack on their phones and posted it on Snapchat. ^[1]

Irfan had just got off the bus on his journey home from school when the attack happened, six streets from his home in Harehills, at around 3:40 p.m. ^[1]

He had gone to get food with his brother and got into an argument with another teenager, whom he is believed to have known, before the knife was plunged into his chest. ^[1]

Four friends carried Irfan away down the street, but he collapsed, bleeding heavily from the deep wound.

He was taken to a hospital in an ambulance and died shortly afterwards.
