Overview
InDinero was founded in 2009 by Jessica Mah, Andy Su, and Andrea Barrica.
InDinero has worked with companies including GitHub, Coursera, Boosted, Instacart and others.[2]
Working with InDinero, a company gets a professional accounting team, led by a controller, that acts as an extension of the company.
A tax manager teams up with an accountant to proactively incorporate changes to a business into the tax service.
InDinero also offers CFO services and online accounting software.
Normally a business needs to choose a software platform, find a bookkeeper, and a separate CPA for their taxes, but InDinero provides all of these services in a single hub.
In its first version, InDinero charged its few customers $20 a month for its software.
InDinero was in the Summer 2010 batch of Y Combinator After a series of bad hires in 2012, InDinero had spent nearly all of the $1.2 million it had raised from investors.
By 2018, it has raised a total of ~$12 million from investors.
Partnerships
In 2018, InDinero partnered with TempCFO to bring outsourced accounting expertise to startups and growth businesses.[5]
