Home (SIAMÉS Album)
Home is the upcoming second album by Argentine indie rock and indie pop band SIAMÉS. The album was released on March 13, 2020.[16]
Release
The first single for Home, "Summer Nights", was first announced on June 21, 2019. SIAMÉS posted a trailer to their Youtube for a music video for the song by long-time collaborator Rudo Co., that would be released on August 30 later that year.[3] The music video was delayed to September 17, 2019, but the band released an official audio of the track on August 30 as compensation.[2][4] The music video announced the name of the new album, Home.[2]
"No Lullaby" was the next single released from Home. The song was release on November 3, 2019, through an official lyric video and on streaming services.[5] The video revealed the album art for Home. A music video for "No Lullaby" was released on February 28, 2020.[9] This video was not animated by RUDO Co., but rather used footage from the band's tour in North America from January 28 to February 8 earlier that year.[9]
Home has received three more singles before the album's release: "I Can't Wait", released on November 28, 2019; "Easier", released on January 9, 2020; and "Young and Restless", released on January 21, 2020.[5][1][10] None of these singles received a music video like "Summer Nights" or "No Lullaby", but they did receive official audio uploads onto YouTube.[5][1][10] "Easier" was released on streaming platforms the next day, but "I Can't Wait" and "Young and Restless" saw delayed releases. "I Can't Wait" wasn't released on streaming platforms until December 13.[6][7] Meanwhile, "Young and Restless" became available on February 7, 2020.[11][10]
The intro for the album was released on YouTube on March 5, 2020, as a teaser for the album.
This video announced the release of the album on March 12.[17] On March 12, 2020, the day before the album's release, the final three tracks from the album that had not received videos on YouTube were uploaded to the site.[12][13][14] In addition, an upload of the album in its entirety was uploaded to the site.[15]
