Hemant Kher is a Professor of operations management and Chairperson of the Department of Business Administration at the University of Delaware.

Biography

Hemant Kher is a Professor of operations management and Chairperson in the Department of Business Administration at the University of Delaware prior to pursuing his graduate studies, he worked in the Quality Control and Production Planning departments at Amforge Industries in Mumbai, India. He has consulted with several firms on operations issues. He has published his research work in Cornell Hospitality Quarterly, Decision Sciences, European Journal of Operational Research and elsewhere.

Education

He earned a PhD in production & operations management from the University of South Carolina, a masters in industrial administration from Lynchburg College, and a B.Sc. in physics from Bombay University.
