Heather Anable, known to fans as "Ivy", was a Feminist YouTube host. ^[8]She was in a romantic relationship with fellow Youtuber Aleksander Kolpakov who is better known as the "Skeptic Feminist." ^[0]

Heather was very spiritual.

She had several tattoos, including a mouse based on the book Flowers for Algernon. ^[5]

On the evening of May 13th, Heather and Aleksander were doing shrooms together in her apartment when Aleksandr began to make accusations that Heather was trying to kill him and that she poisoned him.

Aleksandr is a veteran with a history of PTSD. When they were skyping a friend, Lauren Athena at the time and they tried to calm him down, but to no avail. ^[0]

At around 9:30 PM, the skype call dropped.

Shortly thereafter, Aleksandr shot Heather Anable multiple times in the neck and chest.

Heather fled from her apartment but collapsed in the parking lot where she died from her wounds.

A memorial fund was created to benefit the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, whose mission is to create a culture where domestic violence is not tolerated; and where society empowers victims and survivors and holds abusers accountable.
