Haley Sweetland Edwards

Haley Sweetland Edwards is an American journalist and author based in Washington, D.C. She is a Correspondent at TIME Magazine and author of Shadow Courts: The Tribunals That Rule Global Trade. [1]

Education

Haley Sweetland Edwards graduated from Yale University with a Bachelor's degree in philosophy and history. Haley Sweetland Edwards later attended Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, receiving a Master's degree in Journalism and Politics.

Career

Prior to joining Time (magazine) in April 2014, she was an editor at the Washington Monthly, where she edited brilliant people and wrote mostly about policy and regulation.

Before that, she was a freelance reporter in the The Middle East and the Caucasus, writing mostly for the Los Angeles Times, The Atlantic, The New Republic, and other publications.

Haley Sweetland Edwards started her career as a resident reporter at the Seattle Times.
