#FreeKesha

#FreeKesha

Background

#FreeKesha is a movement to support Kesha's ability to control her musical content that started in February 2016.

Kesha claims that her producer, Dr. Luke (Lukasz Gottwald), sexually, physically, verbally, and emotionally abused her.

Kesha does not have the ability to produce music without the Dr. Luke.

The court ruled that the label had invested $60 million in her career and offered her reasonable freedom in content development.

This led to a decision to deny Kesha's appeal to break her contract.
