Thompson graduated from Navasota High School in Texas. [9] Thompson was enrolled at Blinn College, a junior college. However, she was taking time off to pursue modeling full time. She was majoring in kinesiology. [9]

According to Navasota Assistant City Manager and Director of Public Safety Shawn Myatt, both trains were blowing their horns, but as Thompson stepped out of the path of a BNSF train, she moved into the way of a Union Pacific train.
[14]The train had 101 cars loaded with grain and was traveling from Oklahoma to Beaumont.
She died en route to a local hospital.
Following the accident, traffic was stopped in Navasota for more than 5 hours while authorities conducted an investigation.
She died 3 days before her 20th birthday.
A group of loved ones gathered around on what would've been her 20th birthday and set dozens of balloons floating in the sky in memory of Fredzania.
Fredzania Thompson's funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 18, 2017, at the Brosig Auditorium in Navasota, followed with a graveside service in Oakland Cemetery. Before the funeral, the public can pay their respects at a visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Psalms Funeral Home. [1] [4]

Thompson was a devout Christian.
She had a passion for volleyball and make-up.
