Fred has lived in the Bay Area for most of his life. He grew up in the town of Vallejo and now lives in the city of Sacramento where he has lived for many years.
He is a supporter of the 49ers.
Hit and Run
On Saturday evening November 25th, 2017, while on Highway 80, it is alleged that Fred Lowe was driving his 1996 Mercedes E-Class when he made a collision that ended the life of four people.
Lowe never stopped, instead, he continued driving, there by committing a hit and run.
The collision was reported at 8:11 p.m. at Highway 80 at the San Pablo Dam Road off-ramp.
After being spotted by Contra Costa County Sheriff deputies, he was apprended and arrested on suspicion of felony vehicular manslaughter, felony hit-and-run and felony DUI.
Lowe is at the Martinez Detention Facility on a $1.15 million bail.
Jared Horn was one of the drivers impacted by Fred Lowe. His father Daryl Horn and his 14-year-old brother, Joseph, died at the scene. His uncle and cousin died too. They are 52-year-old Troy Biddle and his 12-year-old son, Baden Biddle.
