Franklin Hsu is a Physics teacher at Eastside High School in Lancaster in the state of California. He is known for being in a viral video where one of his students, Gideon Yapp loses his temper and yells at Mr. Hsu.

On May 25th, 2017, during the middle of a school day, there was a provocation initiated Franklin Hsu on a student named Gideon Yapp. Both had stepped outside to talk when a student begins video recording them reentering the classroom. As they enter, a Gideon beaming with fury begins yelling at him at the top of his lungs enraging the teacher as well.

Gideon angers the teacher in order to provoke into a physical fight.

Gideon express complete abhorrence towards Mr. Hsu as he follows the teacher to his seat and continues to berate him.

Gideon then begins to walk towards the door as he continues to say expletives including referring to Mr Hsu as a "N*". He also picks up the garbage can and empties the garbage on the floor. The video then ends.

The video of Gideon losing his temper and expressing his anger to the teacher has since gone viral.

The video first appeared on Twitter by a user who goes by: harvill_morgan. Users and people that know of Gideon began to disclose information about him and his personal life - with one user suggesting that people take to his grandmother's Facebook and let her know about the awful behavior her grandson displayed to the world.

As of yet, it is unknown if Gideon has been expelled from the High School or if he faces disciplinary actions.
