Fotis Dulos (born 1968 - died January 30, 2020) was an American businessperson from Turkey. He resided in the United States for over thirty years. He spent his final days under house after being charged in the murder of his wife in New Canaan, Connecticut.[12]

Dulos Faced Multiple Counts
He was captured on the charges of homicide.
The police believe he is behind the murder conspiracy of his ex-wife Jennifer Dulos.
He is charged with capital murder, murder and kidnapping in the apparent death of his wife Jennifer Dulos, who has not been seen since she dropped her children off at school on May 24, 2019. The two were in the midst of a contentious divorce and custody battle at the time. He was taken into custody at his home in Farmington, Connecticut on January 7, 2020 and arraigned.Dulos was first arrested in June 2019 on evidence tampering charges;he was released on bail on June 11th.
The couple had separated in the summer of 2017 and had been going through a bitter divorce and custody battle, which produced over 400 filings in their family court case.
In 2018, Jennifer Dulos' mother, Gloria Farber, filed a lawsuit against Fotis Dulos, claiming he owed more than $2 million to her late husband's estate after failing to repay loans made to him and his luxury home building business, The Fore Group.
Arrested for Murder
Connecticut State Police announced on January 13, 2020 that Fotis Dulos was facing counts of murder, felony murder and kidnapping in the disappearance of Jennifer Dulos, a mother of five who went missing after dropping her children off at school on a May morning last year.Fotis was 51 years old at the time of being charged.
Dulos’s girlfriend, Michelle Troconis, and a local lawyer who represented him in civil cases, Kent Mawhinney, were also charged with conspiracy to commit murder.
Placed Under House Arrest
Fotis Dulos, the estranged husband of a missing mother of five stood accused of kidnapping and murdering, posted his $6 million bond in January of 2020, a day after he was held in jail because of a paperwork issue, his attorney said.
He was also given his phone back, which had been seized days earlier.
He was placed under house arrest with GPS monitoring. Neither he nor attorney Kevin Smith, a member of his defense team, commented when they left court. A protective order banning him from contact with his five children, who have been living with their maternal grandmother under armed protection in Manhattan since their mother vanished, remained in place.

Dulos was declared dead on January 30, 2020 at 5:32 p.m. by his lawyers.
