In late May 2016, a video was uploaded to Snapchat and YouTube which depicts three teenage girls holding a rabbit by the throat then throwing the animal against the walls of a room several times then kicking it.

^[1]The video then quickly went viral and news media soon picked up the story.

The teens can be heard giggling and laughing each time the rabbit is hit.

A loud thump also is heard as the rabbit strikes the wall.

At least one teenager also appears to kick the bunny as it tries to escape.

The three teenage girls, ages 13 and 14, were arrested on Animal Cruelty charges(Cruelty to Animals).

The rabbit suffered a leg fracture and internal damage.
