Fred Coates is the chief strategy officer at Spivak Management.

He is also Chief Marketing Officer for Ballerz World app.

Fred grew up in Los Angeles and fell in love with basketball while playing for Fairfax High School's team in the Golden Era of the team’s success.

In prep school, he was introduced to marketing and media and during his undergraduate studies at UCLA, Fred began to combine his athletic interests with his academic interests in marketing.

Fred's first majoring fundraising and marketing campaign raised over $200,000 via his company http://www.mezzolink.com/ for Homeboy Industries in Los Angeles.

Fun fact: Fred sat next to Kobe Bryant at a Beyoncé concert.

Fred has tried and will probably never be able to master the Tim Hardaway crossover.

He also hates mixing chocolate and fruit.
