Fayez Tlaib (born July 1, 1976) is the ex-husband of Rashida Tlaib, the first female Muslim and Palestinian American ever to sit in the United States Congress.
Biography
Fayez Tlaib is originally from Beit Ur al-Fauqa, a Palestinian village in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate in the northern West Bank. [1]
In 1998, Fayez Tlaib married his wife, Rashida Tlaib. They have two sons: Adam and Yousif. According to Haaretz, Fayez is a member of Rashida's maternal family. [1]
In 2015, the couple got divorced.
