Evan Drellich is an American sports journalist and author based in New York City. He serves as a Staff writer at The Athletic.
Education
In 2009, Drellich received the Bachelor of Arts in English from Binghamton University. [5]
Career
Drellich started his career in 2006 as the Editor-in-chief of Pipe Dream. In 2007, he became a Feature writer at Inside Pitch Magazine and Scout.com. From 2007-2010, he was a Sports clerk at Press & Sun-Bulletin. He also worked as a Reporting intern and Stringer at Newsday and The Press-Enterprise.[5]
In April 2010, Drellich joined MLB.com as a Reporter. In 2013, he became Boston Red Sox beat writer at MassLive.com and Houston Astros beat writer at Houston Chronicle. Later, he also covered Red Sox for Boston Herald and NBC Sports Boston.[5]
From 2017-2019, Drellich was a Radio host at WEEI-FM. Since May 2019, he has been a Staff writer at The Athletic.[5]
