Ethan Roser was a 19-year-old from Mason, Ohio. ^[3]

Ethan grew up in Mason and went to Mason High School.

^[3]He graduated in 2016.

^[2]An athlete, Mason played on his school's soccer team.

^[2]He went on to attend Wheaton College where he was a transfer student from another school. ^[4]Ethan decided to go to Wheaton in order to learn more about the Ministry. ^[6]

In his free time, Ethan enjoyed hanging out with friends and family.

During the afternoon of April 22nd, Rose was volunteering at a track and field event when he was struck by a Hammer throw. ^[4]Ethan was rushed to Good Samaritan Hospital where he was pronounced dead. ^[3]In an autopsy, head trauma was listed as the cause of death. ^[13]After further investigation, it was determined that Ethan was not paying attention when he was hit with the hammer. ^[0]
