Erin Schrode is an environmentalist and cofounder of Turning Green, which she started in 2005 when she was just 13 years old. Erin is currently running for congress in California's 2nd congressional district - her hometown of Marin county - against Democrat Representative Jared Huffman. Erin is a New York University graduate.

Erin's campaign platform is based on environmental health, future education and work and human rights.

Her dad is a professor and her mom is a former television producer.
