At first, Nardini thought she wanted to be a lawyer, but decided against it and went in the direction of advertising and marketing.
[5] Early in her career, Nardini was a Media Manager at Fidelity Investments, Vice President of Arnold Worldwide, and SVP in Business at Modelina.
It was at Fidelity where she first started experimenting with the internet for media purposes, and saw the medium's vast potential.
Nardini became the CEO of Barstool Sports in 2016, beating out 70 men who also applied for the job.
She had been of fan of Barstool since 2004, picking up the print version while she lived in Somerville. [3] During Nardini's time as CEO, Barstool has expanded their media platform to include over 700 social media accounts and over 25 podcasts. As of 2018, Barstool was valued at $100 million. [5]
Awards
Nardini has earned numerous awards and accolades throughout her career.
In 2004 she was granted the Echo Award for Royal Caribbean and was named one of MediaPost Magazine’s Top 20 Rising Media Stars.
Nardini received Google’s Marketing Machine Award for March of 2006.
and 2007, she was awarded the Bronze Award for Via “Love Everyday” as well as the Gold Award for Nokia “New Year’s Eve”.
In 2008 Nardini received the Webby Award for LeBron.MSN.com.
Nardini was inducted in the Advertising Hall of Achievement for the Class of 2014.
Education and Personal Life
Nardini is originally from New Hampshire. attended Colby College where she studied sociology and philosophy. [1] She earned a Bachelor of Science from the school. [1] Nardini currently lives in New York with her husband, their children, and two Bernese Mountain dogs. [1] Nardini holds a large collection of L.L.Bean tote bags. [4]
