Erica Williams Simon is an American entrepreneur, speaker, writer, and award winning content creator based in Los Angeles, California. ^[1]

Simon graduated from the University of Maryland College Park with a Bachelor's degree in African-American studies and public policy. ^[1]

She was previously creative director of Upworthy, where she helped build a branded content studio focused on telling meaningful stories for some of the world’s largest brands.

There and in her work as a columnist for TIME, she reached an audience of nearly 30 million people a month.

She has appeared on HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher, 106th & Park, and the Dr. Oz Show. Her work has been featured in Harvard Business Review, Washington Post, Huffington Post, and Essence magazine.
