Eric Chase Bolling was a 19-year-old student at the University of Colorado, Boulder. He is the son of Eric Bolling, a conservative television host and political commentator.

Eric grew up in Old Tappan, New Jersey. He was the only child ofEric Bolling and his wife Adrienne. After graduating high school, he went on to study economics at the University of Colorado and lived in Boulder. Like his father, Eric held conservative views and for Halloween dressed up as a police officer arresting Hillary Clinton. In his free time, Eric enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

He was dating 19 year old model Ciara Medlin. ^[1] Regarding his death, Ciara said "Rest easy to one of the first, closest, and best friends I ever had in Boulder. My heart aches and you didn't deserve this. We will miss you angel"^[1]

On September 8th, 2017, it was reported that Eric had committed suicide.

His father had been fired from Fox News hours before he committed suicide.

There are conflicting reports, as Bolling Jr.'s friend Wayne Carter claimed Bolling Jr. had just been partying too hard on "Cocaine, Weed, Xanax and Heroin" in the time leading to his death.

Eric even shared videos of himself Vaping to his friends on Snapchat the night of his death. ^[1]
